Welcome to Pickle Lake, the End of the Road and Ontario's Last Frontier, only 300 miles from the coast of Hudson Bay. We are the most northerly town in Ontario accessible by road all year long. North of Pickle Lake the North Road extends all the way to Windigo, giving access to vast virgin forests, never touched by a logger's axe. Thousands of lakes and rivers dot the region, teeming with Walleye, Northern Pike, Trout and other species of fish. Aside from moose, the region offers viewing opportunities for woodland Caribou, the elusive timber wolf, black bear, fur bearing animals, game birds, bald eagles, gulls, ravens, and migratory birds such as ducks, geese and cranes. Enjoy lounging on sand beaches, berry picking, rock hounding, wilderness camping, hiking and canoeing.

In town we have an airport, three grocery stores, a tackle shop, two garages, two hotels, two B & B's, an RV park, a fitness centre, K-10 school, bowling lanes, natural ice curling rink &, arena, library, post office, LCBO, thrift shop, medical clinic, OPP, volunteer fire department, churches, many friendly residents, incredible sunsets & beautiful northern lights dancing across the sky.

Plan to join us on July 1 when we hold our Annual Blackfly Festival where there is something for everyone. Horseshoe tournament, BBQ, fish derby, Pancake Breakfast, kits games, beer garden & so much more!

Call us at 1-800-565-9189 for information on this full-service community with lots of Northern hospitality
